Dragonfly & Dreams provides legal wedding services in the province of Ontario. Thanks to AEIC, we are privileged to offer our services for non-denominational, religious, interfaith, and same sex weddings, destination weddings, elopements, and vow renewals. We specialize in creating custom ceremonies that are true to you as a couple.

Complimentary Consultation - An opportunity to get to know each other and discover if we're a perfect match. Available over the phone, via Skype or in person.

​Booking - Once we've confirmed your date & time is available, a signed contract and 50% deposit secures your booking.

​Signing Only - starting at $250.00

Great for couples who are looking to elope or who want to get legally married in Ontario before their destination wedding.

​Simple Ceremony starting at $375.00

Symbolic and non-denominational ceremonies which include: opening remarks, vows, ring exchange, and signing.

​Traditional Ceremony starting at $400.00

These ceremonies include: opening remarks, readings, vows, ring exchange, wishes and signing.

​Custom Ceremony - starting at $425.00

Includes a planning session, one-of-a-kind script, wedding ceremony and signing.

​Vow Renewal - starting at $325.00

Rehearsal - $100-$150

Before:

You are required to purchase and present your marriage licence prior to he signing. You must secure 2 witnesses of legal age to be present. (Witnesses can be provided for a small fee.) You provide all props required for your ceremony.

Additional expenses (including travel, rental and postage) may be added.

After:

Following the signing, we will register your Marriage License and provide you with your Record of Solemnization.

Typically, after 90 days, you can apply for your permanent Marriage Certificate. Apply online here.


How to get a Marriage Licence

To get a marriage licence, you will need to:
bring 2 pieces of government-issued identification for each person getting married.  One piece of identification must include your photo.
Examples of government-issued identification:
government-issued birth certificate, including any change of name certificates
valid passport
record of immigrant landing
Canadian Citizenship Card
valid driver’s licence
valid Ontario Photo Card
pay a fee (fees vary depending on the municipality)

A marriage licence is valid for 90 days from the date it is issued.
